It would be hard to imagine anyone in the USA not
having one of these items in their pocket at some time
in their lifetime. This item is formed by compression of
a common material used throughout the USA for a multitude
of purposes.
Look closely you can see the deformed/flattened structures
as you explore the specimen. Try to guess what it
is as you decrease the magnfication. How low of a
magnification must you go before you figure out what
it is?
